SYSGO hat die Version 6.2 seines Linux-Betriebssystems ELinOS vorgestellt, das für Embedded-Anwendungen optimiert ist. ie neue Version basiert auf dem Linux Kernel 4.9 mit Long-Term Support und Realtime-Erweiterungen und unterstützt nun auch Yocto Linux Project Kernels über ein "Generic Platform BSP". Außerdem helfen die ELinOS Security Services dabei, Sicherheitslücken schnell zu schließen. Um langfristigen Support und ein höchstmögliches Sicherheitsniveau zu gewährleisten, lehnt sich ELinOS auch in der neuen Version an die Debian Distribution an.
