Die St. Maria-Kirche in Gütersloh wurde am vergangenen Sonntag Schauplatz einer denkwürdigen Veranstaltung. Die Gemeinde begrüßte an diesem Tag hochrangige Gäste wie Sabri Atman vom Seyfo-Center in Schweden, Berzan Boti, intellektueller Menschenrechtsaktivist und Schriftsteller sowie Ingrid Seigis, Geschäftsführerin von Christian Solidarity International (CSI) Deutschland, zum Thema Völkermord von 1914/15 am assyrischen, armenischen und griechischen Volk. Eingeladen haben das Seyfo-Center, der Assyrischen Verein Gütersloh und der TurAbdin-Verein Gütersloh. Sabri Atman sprach in seiner Rede über die historischen Aspekte des Seyfo (Völkermord) und dessen Hintergründe. Untermalt wurden seine Schilderungen durch Bilder von verschiedenen globalen Veranstaltungen hinsichtlich des Völkermordes von 1915. Er hob hervor, dass die Türkei weltweit über 300 Mio. Dollar ausgibt, um das Thema Genozid im Keim zu ersticken und dadurch Diskussionen...
