Even though I didn't support your vision of the world and your vision of how to get America back on track, I appreciated the fact that you have fought in this campaign with energy and courage.

As a European, it was rather strange for me that you used the world "Socialist", as something negative, because the "Socialists" are ruling Spain and Spain is still a democratic country.

The “Socialists” have been ruling France for 14 years under the presidency of Francois Mitterrand: (1981- 1995), and during this "socialist" ruling, great things happened like:

The abolition of the death penalty, the first woman Prime Minister in France, the construction of the Louvre Pyramid, the construction of the Great Library Francois Mitterrand and so on... so nothing to fear about, in those great political and cultural accomplishments.

And I would like to remind you, Senator John McCain, that the second powerful party of the European Parliament is the Party of European Socialists, and to my knowledge, Europe, nevertheless, is still a democratic entity and belongs to the democratic world.

This is why I really praise the American people for his choice of a President, that is not John McCain, but who is more up to date with the realities of the global world.

Nevertheless, Senator John McCain, congratulations for your perseverance and your fighting spirit during the American presidential campaign 2008.
