Collaborative Enterprise Cup 2015

Presented by we.CONECT, the prestigious Collaborative Enterprise Cup 2015 took place on October 01, 2015 as part of the Social Business Collaboration. The event connects more than 200 senior level business, communication, knowledge and technology experts in order to share their insights and experience on collaboration and knowledge management platforms and to shape the future of Social Business Collaborations.

On the evening of day one all social collaboration experts took part in the Collaborative Enterprise Cup ceremony with networking dinner and voted for the leading and state-of-the-art social collaboration projects in the industry from a selection of nominees. The award exclusively recognises and celebrates achievements in enterprise social networks, collaboration platforms and intranets in the following two categories:
1. Best Integration of Collaboration & Communication / Homepage Excellence
2. Best Social Approach to Business Challenges / Social Business Collaboration

The winner of the Collaborative Enterprise Cup 2015 in the category ‘Best Integration of Collaboration & Communication’ was AMSL with their project myASML, a people-centred digital workplace that brings together communication, social, collaboration and work into one integrated and relevant digital workplace and offers a responsive and mobile solution.
The winner of the Collaborative Enterprise Cup 2015 in the category ‘Best Social Approach to Business Challenges’ was Swisscom with their project Future Collaboration. Their young generation project team is responsible for establishing and enabling Swisscom to work in a collaborative environment through reverse mentoring, community building, floor-walking, classroom teaching and workshops.

Additionally, we.CONECT also presented a special jury award. Philipp Rosenthal, Principal at Infocentric, Andrew Misholve, Global Enterprise Social Business Strategist at Groupon Inc. and Jerome Dubois, Innovation Manager at BNP Paribas formed the independent expert jury, who reviewed all applications and based on their experience, knowledge and expertise in the digital workplace field, selected the winner. This year, the jury award went to ASML and their project myASML.

The award winners of the Collaborative Enterprise Cup did not only receive a trophy and certificate proving their excellence, but also donated 2,000 € on behalf of we.CONECT to support a charity project.

This year, the Collaborative Enterpise Cup supported Siftung Telefonseelsorge Berlin e.V., an organisation based in Berlin offering phone counselling services to people who find themselves in difficult and desperate situations. With over 150 volunteers who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they are answering more than 25,000 calls per year and listen to every caller’s problem, regardless of religious or political views.
