Week of weddings and divorces

Three prominent weddings happened in Europe. Georg Friedrich Ferdinand Prince of Prussia and Sophie Johanna Maria Princess of Isenburg stepped out of a church on the grounds of a former royal palace and rode in a carriage drawn by six horses through the city streets as heirs to a 1,000-year history of German emperors and empresses. Georg Friedrich is the great-great-grandson of the last German Kaiser.

Petra Ecclestone, 22, daughter of Formula One president and CEO Bernie Ecclestone, married her British businessman boyfriend of nearly five years, James Stunt, 28, in a lavish ceremony in the 15th century Odescalchi Castle, in the hilltop village of Bracciano, 30 miles north of Rome. The same place where Tom Cruise had exchanged vows with Katie Holmes five years ago. The 350 guests at the wedding reception enjoyed performances from Eric Clapton and the Black Eyed Peas and a fireworks and acrobatics show.

And number three is Sofia Coppola, 40, award-winning director of films such as Lost in Translation and Somewhere, and daughter of Francis Ford Coppola. She was getting married to Thomas Mars, 35, the lead singer of the French rock band Phoenix, and the father of her two small children. It took place in front of around 80 guests in a simple ceremony in the South Italian town of Bernalda.

On the other hand news and rumors about divorces could be read for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. The Smiths have dismissed reports suggesting he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are on the verge of splitting up, insisting their marriage is "intact".
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have called to quit after 7 years of marriage. Jennifer Lopez, the singer-and-actress split from husband Marc Anthony in July, two months after the TV talent contest ended.
George Clooney has moved on from two year old relationship with model Elisabetta Canalis and into the arms of a former female wrestler.

What makes it happen, that marriages break after both of them had promised themselves everlasting love? L. Ron Hubbard had looked upon this and given statements in the lecture called “marriage” from 2 January 1960. “A relationship is postulated by husband and wife, and it has to be created continuously. And when people stop postulating it, it ceases to exist! And that’s what happens to most marriages.” Why do they stop creating it? Because one of them or both have done things they do not want to communicate to the other. This builds the barrier for the continuous creation.
“Communication is the root of marital success from which a strong union can grow and non-communication is the rock on which the ship will bash out her keel.”
