Some people dream of living in an elegant castle or a medieval castle. Those who live there moaning because they have to get the hard-to-heating chambers. What's life like in castles and palaces full of beautiful furniture and surrounded by valuable paintings and always under the watchful eye of conservationists? Is this pure luxury or a burden? Some inherit castles, others buy them even.
In the film by Teresa Andreae open long-established and new castle Count gentlemen in North and South of Tyrol their flats in the castles. You see never filmed private apartments and it´s shown how life is going in the historic rooms. To see art historical treasures are peppered with a dash of voyeurism.
Part of this film is the historic castle Tratzberg in the Karwendel Alps. The castle Tratzberg is owned by Graf Goes von Enzenberg. He shows his private rooms.
