Paperworld 2010

From January 30th to February 2nd, took place at the Frankfurt Messe in Frankfurt am Main in Germany, the Paperworld fair.

The countries on display at the Paperworld fair were : Egypt, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Germany, El Salvador, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Honduras, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Canada, Columbia, The Republic of Korea, Croatia, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nepal, The Netherlands, Austria, Pakistan, The Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, The Republic of Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, South Africa, The Syrian Arab Republic, Taiwan, Thailand, The Czech Republic, Tunisia, Turkey, Hungary, The United States of America, The United Kingdom, Vietnam, Cyprus.

The groups of products to be found at the Paperworld fair were office supplies, school articles, printers/computers and multimedia, gift articles, paperworld creative, wrapping, greeting cards/picture calendars, licensed articles, office paper and transparency paper, household paper and transparency paper, miscellaneous. There were also publishers and associations and a Remax section.

The Paperworld fair seems to me to have been very successful. A vivid evidence that despite our modern world that is said to be dominated by the computer, the internet, the mobile, (...), paper and everything revolving around paper haven't lost an inch of their fascination power.

It was fascinating to see:

The paper artwork and texture of Thailand's Morning Flora Limited Partnership, whose managing director is Amorn Handumrongkul.

The exotic and natural dried products of Germany's Oldenburger Kolonialwaren from the village of Rastede. The creativity of Germany's Grafik Werkstatt in Bielefeld.

The woodwork of Austria's Drechslerei Angerer GmbH from the village of Dorfgastein and whose manager is Me. Dietfried Angerer. The beauty of Germany's Luiban Luithardt & Bandt GbR line of product from Nuremberg.

The pens' artwork and efficiency of Japan's OHTO co., Ltd from the city of Tokyo. The paper products beauty of Japan's Awagami Factory.

The pure design of Italy's Pinetti Srl products from the village of Brusaporto. The paper's quality of Germany's Hahnemühle FineArt from Dassel. The luxury of Germany's Online Schreibgeräte GmbH products from Neumarkt.

The creativity, the imagination in Germany's Regenbogen line of products managed by Michael Kraus from the village of Schlüchtern.
