Sony C905 Bronze Edition Joins the Sony Ericsson C905 Portfolio

The Cybershot range of camera focussed phones has expanded to include a new colour variant of the Sony Ericsson C905, this 8 megapixel camera phone has now been joined by a new bronze edition.

The Sony C905 Bronze holds all of the same amazing technology, features and specifications as the original black edition but exchanges the outer casing for a new bronze / gold finish. Originally, this new model was to be called the Sony Ericsson C905 Inca Gold, however it seems the retailers had other ideas and now will be officially known as the bronze edition.

The time has finally come when mobile phones with cameras are set to take on standalone digital cameras negating the need to carry two devices around, the Sony Ericsson C905 faces competition from two other high specification camera phone from two different manufacturers, these include the 8 Megapixel LG KC910 Renoir and Samsung Pixon M8800.

The Sony C905 is the manufacturers first sliding Cybershot mobile phone and its most advanced camera phone yet. With an 8.1 megapixel camera and real camera flash amongst its cutting-edge capabilities, it offers easy photo-taking in a phone that derives its looks from a digital camera and offers the picture quality to match.

The C905 has all the functions users need for perfect pictures including smart contrast balances light and colour and face detection helping users focus on their subjects. After capturing that speciall moment users can then view their pictures on the handsets impressive 2.4" scratch-resistant mineral glass display.

The Sony Ericsson C905 bronze features pathfinder which is essentially built-in aGPS, this software includes location-based services like Google Maps and Wayfinder that helps users find the way to their destination or add location info to their images using the geo-tagging function.

Capturing pictures with the Sony C905 is easy, users simply press the shoot mode key to activate the camera, snap away and share. They can then upload photos to their own online blogsite or print photos with fantastic resolution up to A3 size. Users can also send their photos wirelessly from their phone to a TV via Wi-Fi (using DLNA), or connect with wires using the TV-Out Cable ITC-60.

The Sony Ericsson C905 is not just a camera phone, it also features Bluetooth connectivity (including stereo Bluetooth support), a built-in email client, the Sony Ericsson PlayNow download service and HSDPA high-speed 3G to give you quick, easy access to a world of audio and video streaming, Web surfing, multimedia messaging and email on the go.

The Black Sony Ericsson C905 was made available on Orange, O2 and Vodafone pay monthly tariffs with further launches expected on T-Mobile and as a SIM Free handset as well as a Pay As You Go model, initially the new Sony C905 bronze has been made available on O2 but again further networks are expected to release this new colour variant.
